The interesting thing is that as of December 10, 2009 Saxon Mortgage has 42 permanent loan modifications on their books out of their 35,000 trial loan modifications. — What the heck does this mean? They have the money to help homeowners and have only granted 42 permanent loan mods? Where is the rest of the money and what is it being used for? Just so ampicillin buy you know this is less then 1/10th of 1% or a hair over $20 Million dollars per loan modification! Also, Indymac bank just received over $814 Million dollars to help homeowners with their loan modifications. This is almost 1 Billion dollars. Could this mean that Indymac Bank has $814 Million Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited dollars of profit right now at the tax payers expense?
